Great control. Nice base tremendous sound.

I have bought a number of these systems over the years. This is one of the best sounding ones that I’ve heard in a long time.I’ve got it in a 900 square-foot open room and it fills the whole room with sound and the base is wonderful.

Update. I wrote a review (see below) and the company reached out to me and was trying to help me. I checked the system at full volume again and it was fine. I thought I had tried everything to fix it before but the result was barely audible. Not sure if I missed something, but for the money this system delivers pretty nice sound for videos etc. Also it’s louder than I need now. Thanks Cyber Acoustics for reaching out to me.”I bought an similar system from Logitech and it failed after about 7 1/2 years. I bought this Cyber Acoustics system and it suddenly lost most of its volume. I bought it March 21, 2024. Turn it up all the way and you can barely hear it. Excellent sound for a moderate price

I owned a much heavier system but after many years it developed a short; I chose the downsized version of my system by the same company. No regrets! Crisp reproduction and gets plenty loud for my heavy rock/progressive favorites. No distortion even at maximum volume. This model and manufacturer highly recommended.

Defective Subwoofer

For the money, the speakers actually produce good sound… when the subwoofer works.The separate volume control pod is poorly designed imo. The main volume knob is so large that adult-sized fingers will invariably move it while adjusting the separate bass volume control. Also the main knob feels flimsy – there’s excessive play in the knob such that when you adjust the volume the knob wobbles.Since receiving this item, I’ve had issues with the subwoofer. I tried various iterations of the Realtek driver, tried running the generic Microsoft HD driver, messed round with all the settings I could think to mess with both in Windows settings and the Realtek control panel, etc. until one day when gaming I accidentally bumped the sub with my foot and it dropped out.So, now I’ll open up the sub to find out whether I need to R&R the jack or just fix a cold solder joint – I have yet to open up a modern product to see correctly soldered connections, I assume the pace at the factory is such that the workers aren’t even given the brief amount of time it takes to heat a component to the temp needed for a proper joint, or maybe they aren’t trained to recognize the difference, or maybe they just don’t care.At any rate, decent sound for a budget set of speakers, but poor quality control, or training, or attitude at the factory means I’ll have to remanufacture my new speakers to a better standard so my bass is present all the time and not just when I pound on the enclosure.

I am soooo happy I found this for my office setup!!!!

Oh geese I have been through the ringer on finding decent speakers for my office (which is where I spend most of my time). I have a docking station so I needed something with Aux cord only for input. Plus I needed something that could transfer between speakers & a headset (for work meetings).I was very hesitant about having a big sub box taking up space, but figured if the sound quality is as good as advertised, then I’ll make do…. I ended up placing my fan on top of the sub, near the corner by my wall, so in a way, not much new space has been taken up.I just set this up about 30 mins ago & I’m blown away with the sound quality & volume capability!!!!So many speakers I’ve tried, that claimed they were for PC/laptop usage, were barely loud enough to hear what was going on in videos. So annoying! Especially when I also have a desk fan & AC in my office, so there is enough low level noise to compete with for speaker quality.I refuse to wear a headset to fix the sound issue, outside of meetings, as I have to keep one eye open for my 9 month old Husky pup….. I’ve lost too much TP & paper towels already to her D&D rampages lolI think my speaker volume is just below the half-way mark & I can hear EVERYTHING going on in the gaming videos on YouTube that I watch!!! I am absolutely thrilled with this!!! I can walk into my bedroom & still hear what is going on in the video!!!The sub gives off some decent bass, given the cost. I won’t be using it much (I have the volume set so low that it’s barely giving off any).I haven’t checked how smooth the transition is between speaker to headset & if there are any issues (like my headset not being recognized as the output on my laptop). But at this point, if my headset has a problem, I won’t care because this audio setup is perfect for my video watching & gaming!!!

Works great

This speaker set has a 3.5 mm headphone jack and lacked power, so when plugged into the only place you CAN plug it in on a PC or laptop: the headphone jack, it had flat sound and low volume. I also ordered a SoundBlaster Play! 3 external sound card, and while the sound quality was much better it still lacked any volume. In the manufacturer’s response here they list a half dozen add on amplifiers ranging in price from $50 to over $200. That seemed to be a pass-the-buck solution for a problem that shouldn’t even exist. Like I’m going to go out and buy a $30 desktop computer speaker set with a subwoofer, and two midrange dual drivers, then go buy another $200 amplifier… HOWEVER, the problem turned out to be incompatibility with the OS I was using. When I reverted back to Windows 7 Pro from Linux Mint, suddenly it sounded great, and by great, I mean it filled the room with great sound including bass response.

Great Value For The Money

I looked up what songs to listen to for a decent appraisal of the speakers. Here is the you tube title:”our-8-favorite-songs-to-use-to-test-headphones-and-speakers” Very interesting evaluation. Good learning tool.Anyway, my “Dell S2721D” is a great monitor. The sound is utter trash. 1.1 speaker rating. Mice running over the carpet make more noise. Thus these “Cyber Acoustics 62W 2.1 Stereo Speaker with Subwoofer”I already have a GREAT sound system hooked up to my computer. I simply plugged this set, the 3.5 mm standard jack, into my monitor. (these is a jack in the monitor specially for this type of device)I can turn the volume down to where the monitor speakers can barely be heard but the CA 3610s but still strong. This is how I evaluated the speakers. Now to it:The cables are thicker than systems 15/20 years ago. The length between the dual 2” satellite is about 3 to 4 feet per speaker. Same with the woofer. Same with the puck. I used bread ties on every line. In other words, there is plenty of length for ANY SIZE ROOM.The twin tweeters are OK. Nothing to write home about. But they are as clear and as loud as you need. You will never max out the sound….unless its party time with your friends. The big gun is the 5.25” subwoofer. Booming sound. Even my “civilization 3″ game sounds super. It really makes this system a joy to listen to.The puck (central control) is very interesting. Volume for 2” tweeters, a second volume just for the barking woofer. Add a on/off switch to the puck and all is great.Warning: The puck is the weak point. If I can glue it down I will. One web site took apart the CA 3602, a 2008 older version. The connections are crap. Every element looks like crap. These speakers are 2017, a much newer version. Still, made in Chine…sigh. The system WILL NOT LAST if you kick it around several times a day. Treat it well and I’m sure it will last.If the system contained decent midrange speakers it would be a 9.9. As it is I still give it a 8+ rating.Again the meat is the subwoofer. Turn it down 50% and you will get clarity and still retain heart stomping sound.The value of paying $45 on sale marked down from $50 is over the top one of the best deals you can find anywhere. Don’t bother with $150 Bose. This system is all you need.Enjoy, Bob

OK sound, good value for the price

In the mid-90’s I bought a set of computer speakers by Altec Lansing. To date, these are the best sounding computer speakers I’ve ever heard. They rivaled the sound quality of my actual stereo system.Sadly, this week, after nearly 30 years of faithful service and sound quality, those speakers have died, necessitating a replacement.Unfortunately, this set of speakers simply cannot match the sound quality of those old Altec Lansings. However, that isn’t to say they sound terrible, either. For the price, they sound much better than I would have expected. Having said that, though, there is a little bit of a “tin can” quality to the sound and the bass from the subwoofer lacks any real punch.The controls are simple and in that regard maybe almost too simple. You rotate the dial to turn the volume up or down, but there are no visual indicators on the dial to clue you in about what level the volume is set to. Also, you can only adjust the level of bass. There are no other tone controls. So for your mids and highs, you’re just stuck with whatever these speakers put out.For a basic set of speakers at a reasonable price, these will definitely fill the gap while I search for something better. And maybe I wouldn’t be so picky about the sound quality if I wasn’t coming into these pre-spoiled. But even if I do decide to hang on to these, I seriously doubt they will last even half as long as my previous speakers.

AMAZING sound, AMAZING price

Wow. I have had various stereo and speaker combinations in the past, for different use-cases and under different circumstances; and for a home computer system in a bedroom that needs to be beefy yet compact, and offer quality features without being overly complicated, I really don’t think there’s a better offer out there. I would have paid $90 for it, easily (probably shouldn’t say that – but hey, now I can buy two).Make sure you take your time, read what the inputs and outputs are, and TURN THE VOLUME ALL THE WAY DOWN (as well as turning the power off on the dial that comes with it). You wouldn’t want to start your experience with this thing by having it blow out your ears – which it would. So just a quick precaution there. But beyond that, it was VERY simple to setup and the output for the tweeter pair that come with it is on the back of the woofer. And that’s probably the last time you will have to deal with the woofer, thanks to their handy-dandy dial (be careful when handling the woofer so as not to impress the open speaker on the bottom, just fyi). I also elected to put the woofer on the floor instead of the desk (so as not to rattle my hard drives), and I can’t even tell it’s there because of how much the sound fills the room.The first track I put on to try it out HAD to be “Bad Boys,” by Inner Circle – that song will always tell you what you’re working with. I didn’t hear any distortion unless I pumped it up way beyond what would be comfortable for me to listen to, and even at that, I had the woofer on 100% (which you generally don’t need to do). The tweeters are bright, maybe brighter than one might expect, but when you get your woofer to 75% or so and dial-in that perfect balance, you will find that they really complement eachother and nothing feels lacking. Just to compare, I switched output to my desktop bluetooth speaker I was using previously (not a cheap one), and bam – it made that old speaker sound like a joke by comparison. I just couldn’t believe how much audio detail and finer dynamic range I was missing. Such an improvement.I have this setup to come out of a home studio style mixer/audio interface combo, which receives its own audio signal from the computer. I’ve got to tell you – ABSOLUTELY amazing. Blew my mind, and that was without any EQ enhancement!Some reviewers have commented that the power button stops working after a certain amount of time… well as mentioned, part of the reason I bought this was to replace a desktop bluetooth speaker – which constantly turns off when not being used. And I wanted something that would just stay ON all the time, so I don’t think that will be a problem for me. Also, the “auxiliary” output doesn’t seem to work, but I haven’t tried it with all possible receiving equipment, so I won’t include that determination in my review. And honestly, even if I did, I believe I would still be rating it 5 stars.What sealed the deal in me taking a chance on this unit was that I also saw it was featured as part of a “Small Business” support type campaign in the description, and when I get a chance, I like to support small and up-and-coming enterprises. And as is often the case, I’m very glad I did.Bottom line? WORTH THE SHOT.

I’ve used this brand for 15 years. Still just as solid.

These are by far the best value for the money speakers on amazon. I’ve used this on my pc in the past, and now have them hooked up to my projector for movies. The controls are intuitive and precise, there’s no app or complicated downloads. It just plain works. It sounds good. I have control over the sound especially the sub balance. Would definitely recommend to anyone I know.
